Programming a Futurol Remote for a Shutter or Garage Door

Whether it controls a roller shutter or a garage door, a Futurol transmitter registers with the radio receiver in a few simple moves. Here are the three most common scenarios.

Pairing a first remote

1. Put the receiver on standby: cut the power for about ten seconds, then switch it back on.
2. Within 10 seconds, press the transmitter's programming key (on the back, sometimes under the battery cover).
3. The curtain jogs up and down: press "up" to confirm.

Duplicating from an existing remote

Stand near the box. On the old remote, hold the programming key until the shutter moves, then briefly press the same key on the new remote: a second movement confirms the addition.

Resetting everything

If behaviour is erratic or a remote is lost, a full erase is best: hold the programming key (or use successive power cuts depending on the generation) until the third jog, then re-pair each transmitter.
