Cherubini Skipper transmitters control motorised roller shutters and awnings. Programming relies on the small PROG button on the back of the remote and on visual feedback from the motor.
First set-up
- Power only the motor to be programmed (disconnect the others to avoid interference).
- Hold PROG until the curtain jogs twice.
- Check the direction: if "up" lowers the shutter, hold STOP for a few seconds to reverse rotation.
- Then set the limit switches following your model's manual (up/stop/down sequence).
Adding a remote or a channel
From an already registered transmitter: long-press PROG until the shutter moves, then briefly press PROG on the new transmitter (or the chosen channel on a multichannel model). The motor confirms with a jog.
Mistakes to avoid
- Programming several powered motors at once: they would all register the command
- Cutting the power during the sequence
- Ignoring a weak battery, a source of random programming
A motor that never confirms, a channel that will not register: the receiver may be at fault. Our technicians work on Cherubini motorisations and every other brand, throughout Île-de-France.
