- Encoder errors: the unit no longer "sees" the gate's position – wiring or sensor at fault.
- Power errors: insufficient voltage, flat back-up battery or tired transformer.

- Count the flashes precisely (or note the displayed code) and when the error occurs.
- Check your control unit's manual table: each code points to a specific circuit.
- Start with the simple checks: clean the photocells, inspect the terminals, check the rail.
- Cut the power for 30 seconds to clear a transient error, then test.
When the board is at fault
